Please read these Terms before purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any Foobii product.
General Rules
If you are banned from a Foobii shop, Discord server, or community, your ability to purchase or use Foobii products may be restricted in accordance with these Terms.
Your license is valid only when accurate information is provided during checkout.
Foobii reserves the right to revoke or terminate a license where permitted when these Terms or the applicable product license are violated.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase or use Foobii avatars and other products designated as 18+.
Asset customers should have basic knowledge of Blender and Unity, including fitting, weight painting/data transfer, and preparing normals for Quest where necessary.
Credit Foobii.store whenever required by the applicable product license.
What You're Allowed To Do
Finished Avatars
Use purchased assets on fully finished avatars according to the applicable license.
Asset Modification
Modify purchased assets for finished-avatar use. Modified standalone assets may not be resold or redistributed.
Avatar Usage
Unless otherwise stated, assets may be used on personal, free, Nitro, public, commissioned, and commercial avatars.
VRChat Use
Products are licensed for VRChat use unless another platform or use is expressly permitted by the product listing or license.
Digital Goods & Sales
All products are digital.
Due to the digital nature of Foobii products, sales are considered final once access has been provided, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Refunds, exchanges, and chargebacks are not accepted except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Purchasing a Foobii product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the original work.
Your purchase provides a limited license subject to these Terms and any product-specific conditions.
CAUGHT IN THE AVATAR WEB
The following rules apply specifically to Foobii avatars in addition to the General Terms above.
Avatar Editing
Personal edits are permitted for your own private use. Major modifications that substantially change the avatar's original appearance or identity are not permitted.
Personal Modifications
- Recolors and material changes.
- New clothing and hair swaps.
- Accessories.
- Optimization for personal use.
- Minor customization that still keeps the original look.
Major Modifications
- Reshaping or redesigning the face.
- Removing, hiding, or covering Foobii branding.
- Removing the required Foobii hairclip from an edit.
Foobii Hairclip Requirement — permitted edits must retain the required Foobii hairclip/branding.
No Copying or Recreation
You may not copy, recreate, extract, redistribute, or reuse Foobii's original work outside the permissions granted by your applicable license.
Be inspired. Don't recreate.
General inspiration from a theme or aesthetic is permitted. A 1:1 recreation, direct recreation, or substantially similar copy of distinctive parts of a Foobii avatar is prohibited. Copying Foobii avatar edits is also prohibited.
Creator Credit
Credit Foobii.store
When publicly using, showcasing, posting, or streaming a Foobii avatar where credit is required, proper creator credit must be provided.
Do not intentionally remove Foobii branding, hide the source of the work, or present Foobii's work as your own.
File Sharing & Redistribution
Do not share your files.
Sharing, redistributing, reselling, trading, leaking, uploading publicly, uploading to another person's account, or providing Foobii avatar files to another person is strictly prohibited.
Each purchase is licensed to one individual unless expressly stated otherwise.
Purchasing an avatar does not give permission to hand its source files to another person for editing or conversion.
Age Requirement
You must be 18 or older.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, own, or use Foobii avatars. By purchasing an avatar, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Third-Party Edits & Quest Conversions
If another person will edit a Foobii avatar or create a Quest version for you, permission from Foobii must be obtained beforehand when the process requires sharing or accessing protected avatar files.
Commissioning an edit or conversion does not transfer your license. The editor may not retain, redistribute, resell, or reuse Foobii files.
Ban & License Policy
Access is conditional on following the Terms.
Violations of Foobii rules or applicable license terms may result in removal from the Foobii community, restriction of future purchases, denial of support, or other license remedies permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

BY PURCHASING, YOU AGREE.
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a Foobii product, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the latest Terms of Service presented and applicable to your purchase and use.
Product-specific terms displayed on a product listing form part of the applicable license and should be reviewed before purchase.
